An Audio Sitcom for the Millennial Ear...
BJ, Rachel, Jack and Gabriel are four unlikely friends who find themselves living together in a grubby flat share in South London. Each week, one member of the house takes the bins out and discovers an object amongst the rubbish which sparks the story for that particular episode; from a shiny pink dildo to a ketamine-stuffed willy straw, they reflect on the carnage, chaos and cripplingly cringe moments at 37 Bellenden Road.
Think 'Fleabag' meets 'The Archers' with a sprinkling of 'Fresh Meat' thrown in for good measure...
How did we get here?
In January 2023 BIN JUICE received funding from the Content is Queen and Audible Micro-Grant Scheme to develop a pilot episode. The writers worked tirelessly throughout the Spring to deliver the script and after a thorough casting process the team were ready to get into the studio.
Cut to the summer of 2023 and the cast gathered at Audible studios in London to bring BIN JUICE to life. It was later mixed in Dolby Atmos by our editors and the pilot episode is now being shopped around and seeking further funding to make the series.
LONDON PODCAST FESTIVAL
Following the success of the pilot recording, in September 2023, BIN JUICE was selected to premiere at London Podcast Festival. The cast did a live-reading of the pilot episode to a sell-out crowd in its debut performance for the public.
